Take Part in a Cultural Celebrations with the De Soto Grand Parade
Come together with your local community and join in the excitement at the annual De Soto Grand Parade! This incredible event returns to downtown Brandenton for another year of history, culture, and neighborly fun.
Presented as the wonderful finale of the De Soto Heritage Festival, the Grand Parade will fill the streets with costumed paraders, eye-catching floats, and tons of treats and prizes for onlookers to enjoy! This year’s event includes over 150 entries, and over 200,000 people are expected to line the streets of Manatee to view the illuminated parade entries and catch a glimpse of our newly crowned Queen and Princess. Beads, coins and other fun items will be tossed to the crowd throughout the night, so make sure you attend the De Soto Grand Parade, the largest parade in Southwest Florida, and get your share of goodies! The Parade steps off at 6:30pm from Manatee High School, so mark your calendar and get there early to get the best possible view.
At Holy Cross Manor II Apartments in Palmetto, Florida, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
